MR. Discount Drugs is independently owned and managed by its head pharmacist, Donnie Scrivner and his wife, Amy.  Donnie and Amy are originally from Carthage, Mississippi, where they learned the value of small towns and small family owned businesses. 

Donnie received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Mississippi in 1979.  Soon after, in 1982, he moved to Collinsville to begin his career at MR. Discount Drugs.  Donnie and Amy bought MR. Discount Drugs and owned and managed the pharmacy, which was inside of their grocery store for many years.  In December of 2013, Donnie and Amy decided to build a new building, which now houses the pharmacy and a new gift shop. 

Today, MR. Discount Drugs is more than a pharmacy.  It now offers additional services such as a

Drive-Thru and Curbside Service for picking up and dropping off prescriptions at your convenience, a larger selection of over the counter medicines and a gift shop that offers something for everyone! 

MR. Discount Drugs also now offers a counseling room for your privacy when you need to discuss your medications with our pharmacist.
